A major modern milestone for Reagan County Fire & EMS was the planning and construction of a new fire station at 805 North Main Avenue in Big Lake. The facility opened in late 2022, providing expanded space and improved capabilities to support the department's growing fire and EMS operations.
The construction of the station was made possible through the generosity of the Hickman Foundation. In recognition of their significant contribution and commitment to the community, the facility was named Hickman Station in their honor.
Hickman Station represents more than a new facility — it reflects the continued partnership between Reagan County Fire & EMS and the community we proudly serve, helping ensure our personnel have the resources and facilities necessary to remain ready around the clock.
